DJ and MC Services

STAR AUSTRALIA believes it is immoral to charge more for any show because of the type of function, especially weddings.

There is no extra charge to also MC a function.

Pricing

All shows are charged on a 3 tier system.

Rate 1 applies to Saturdays, the prime day for most functions/bookings.

Rate 2 applies to Fridays and Sundays.

Rate 3  applies to Monday to Thursday, inclusive.

All shows are quoted on a (up to) 6 hour basis and usually come with all necessary equipment,

including lighting (minimum of 2) and uhf cordless microphones (2).

All prices are by negotiation and DISCOUNTS OFTEN APPLY, especially if you mention a past function, client, (or this website).

Extra Time (all services)

STAR AUSTRALIA charges the standard industry rate (that hasn't changed in over 20 years) of $50.00 AUD (plus G.S.T.) per hour for extra time on all DJ services and discounts often apply (except combined DJ plus Karaoke DJ and New Year's Eve, where extra time is doubled).

STAR AUSTRALIA does charge extra for stairs (extra loading time) and for venues that charge for parking.
