We stand behind the quality of our work, whether we are playing to 50 people or 50,000; no matter the budget: no exceptions, plus our rates are always more than competitive...especially as we provide more as standard than most offer as extras! With weddings, engagement and corporate functions our specialty, we also cater to high school formals, 8th to 80th birthdays, and any other private function(s).

Customer Service

Star Australia always tailors your function to your exact wishes by playing exactly the music you want, when you want; with a varied and extensive selection to choose from. We are proud of the service we offer our clients and always go that little bit further than most companies with added touches others either don't know about or quite simply don't bother. Star Australia provides all our clients with the same high standard of quality, attention-to-detail and honesty we would expect of a media and entertainment company at a show or working on a product of our own.

Price

We believe it is immoral to charge more for any show because of the type of function, especially weddings. There is no extra charge to also MC a function.

All shows are charged on a 3 tier system, with Rate 1 applying to Saturdays, the prime day for most functions/bookings. Rate 2 applies to Fridays and Sundays, and Rate 3 applies to Monday to Thursday, inclusive. All shows are quoted on a (up to) 6 hour basis and usually come with all necessary equipment, including lighting (minimum of 2) and uhf cordless microphones (2). All prices are by negotiation and DISCOUNTS OFTEN APPLY, especially if you mention a past function, client, (or indeed this website). 

Extra Time (all services)

Star Australia charges the standard industry rate (of 1987) of $50.00 AUD (plus G.S.T.) per hour for extra time on all DJ services and discounts often apply (except combined DJ plus Karaoke DJ, and New Year's Eve; where extra time is doubled). We do charge extra for stairs (extra loading time) and for venues that charge for parking.

Special Access

We are often asked on the availability of specific talent and wherever possible Australia's (and Adelaide's in particular) leading television, radio and stage personalities; plus Australia's premier artists and bands can often be arranged for your function...or we can put you in touch with the people who can (at no charge).
